Dr. Charis Ntakolia holds a PhD in Operations Research from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). With expertise spanning optimization, operations research, explainable machine learning, and multimodal AI, she leads CAIT's research in computational intelligence, fuzzy inference systems, and emotion-aware technologies. Her work has been published in top-tier journals including Expert Systems with Applications, Scientific Reports, Ocean Engineering, and Computers and Operations Research.
